Projekt Euregio+IIZ Service 2006/2007
Initial situation:
Prolongation and following projects:
july 2007 – december 2007 and january 2008 - august 2008
Increase and further development of the service offers of the International Intercommunal Center “IIZ Groß-Siegharts”, complemented by the subject “sustainable development”.
Basic information:
The activities that have been carried out till now by the IIZ (International Intercommunal Center) demonstrate their successful achievements. Especially the achieved cross border co-operations enlarge the range of action of the municipalities and “micro-regions”. Based on the experience of the last three years and dynamic contacts the supply with professional and target-group-oriented services in the fields of cross-linking, exchange of experience, information and instruction are contents of the succeeding project “Euregio and IIZ Service”. Supplemented by the strategic topic sustainable development –Sustainable development, a leading topic of international politics since Rio, means to preserve quality of life for the next generations, to leave the resources so that the chance to hold the life standard is ensured and to protect everything important and precious for our children and our posterity.
The aim of the project is to strengthen the motivation of the partners in the network to increasingly use citizen-participation-processes for a sustainable further development of the region. In this way municipalities should more and more integrate committed citizens who are willing to bring in their competence and experience in decision processes to ensure sustainable development.
The topic “optimizing of resources” will be brought to the municipalities, micro-regions and medium and small scaled enterprises in particular.
